Συμφώνα με τους θρύλους, την εποχή των Ηρώων ο Bran the Builder κατασκεύασε το Wall και τα CotF τους έδιναν όπλα από obsidian.
Πολύ μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον έχουν οι όρκοι του Night’s watch:
