Από την άλλη, δεν ξέρω αν μπορούμε να συζητήσουμε τον αγνωστικισμό στο πλάισιο του ASOIAF, με δεδομένο οτι στην πραγματική ανθρώπινη ιστορία προηγήθηκε η Αναγέννηση και ο Διαφωτισμός (μεταξύ άλλων) πριν διαμορφωθεί ως ιδέα ο αγνωστικισμός... Στο ASOIAF βρισκόμαστε ακόμα στον αντίστοιχο Μεσαίωνα...

Κατα πάσα πιθανότητα ο Stannis είναι αγνωστικιστής εξαιτίας του οτι είναι τόσο πραγματιστής, και οχι επειδή διακατέχεται από φιλοσοφικό πνέυμα...
