Quote:The Bailor A Targkaryen was the sixth king of Targkaryen sat in Iron Throne. They are remembered as Bailor the Pious, the popular, but because the views differ, and the besotted. Faith honors, but many consider him the weakest King of Iron Throne. Who was this venerable king?
THE EARLY YEARS
The Bailor Targkaryen born in the year 144 MK He was the second son and second child of King Aygun III and Ntainaira Velaryon. It was about a year younger than his brother, the tabors.
The Bailor would gain and other siblings. A sister, the Ntaina, followed by 145 m. K, after the Rhein (MK 147) and finally olein (150 m. K). He grew up in Red Fort along with parents, siblings, his uncle and his cousins, second in succession iron Thronou- a throne that would not pass on this one unless something happened to tabors.
Being the spare heir, the Bailor had no education given to Ntairon- although there is no reason to think that in this ever mattered. The Bailor was deeply religious man, and he loved the Seven as anything else. Of those relatives knew, only sister of the Rhine and the cousin of the naira shared his love of the Seven, but even those not to the extent that would indicate many years later Bailor.
Despite his love of the gods and his position as "spare heir," his father Aygun III did not let him be Sep. Bailor as dreamed. Maybe because if anything happened to tabors the Bailor would be the only son remaining player in Aigkon- came after his brother Viserys, then Prince Aygun, a man, in many ways, was the exact opposite of the godly Bailor.
Instead of devotion the life of the gods, the Bailor forced 160 m. K (at the instigation of his brother) to marry his sister Ntaina according to valyriano custom. The Ntaina was a wild, disobedient young woman with intense temperament and controversial process, it just was not quiet Bailor. Can the brother (or their uncle, whoever arranged marriage) to believe that a lively girl and a quiet boy would make a perfect match. Or maybe the rebellious Ntaina to calm the Bailor as lord husband. Or the Bailor to peeling off from religion with a beautiful wife at his side. None of these things did not happen.
Even if married, however, Bailor had no desire to sleep with her; the gods would prefer the pure and Ntaina well. That's why Bailor never completed the marriage and denied her sister's bed. Princess Ntaina, who as a child dressed dramatically in black (outfits inspired by her father, whom she loved), dressing room and changed constantly wore white, perhaps shamed him Bailor and complete their marriage. The Bailor but misinterpreted the signs. He liked this new Ntaina as in white seemed more innocent. The Ntaina will pulled her hair.
The BAILOR IN Deurne
Soon the storm came. The Young Dragon died in Deurne, without ever married or had children. So the crown passed to the man who had no desire to wear; the ninth Bailor crowned King of Antal, of Rounar and First Peoples. The Crown chose was very special, a crown that no other king will never wore again; a crown of flowers and klimatsides. The whole appearance of Bailor testified his personality. He wore an old, worn casual Rompuy was often dirty. His hair was long, had a beard, and he was very weak because of the lengthy fasts. The style of polite, gentle. The Bailor was not a warrior; his favorite weapon was prayer.
The tabors during his campaign had gotten child hostage by the nobles of Deurne, to make sure the submission of their parents. With the death of tabors, all these hostages awaited execution (among them the third mistress of Prince Aygun, the Lady of the House of Kassella Veith) in retaliation. Instead, their Bailor forgave everyone, and allowed them to leave for Deurne, despite the protests of his advisers, who would prefer to kill the hostages.
And he went with them, against all advice. While hostages kavalagan exquisite horses and had the necessary supplies, the Bailor traveling on foot, with an old cloak against the heat of Deurne. Many thought he would die. Not yet pathane, and this was another of the holy miracles.
After crossing the Way of Bone, reached the Will, the seat of House Will. The Lord Will had his cousin, Aimon the Drakoippoti, who was a prisoner in the same ambush that killed King tabors A Targkaryen, the Young Dragon. The Bailor begged Lord Will let him Aimon. The Will did not consent, and Bailor forced to leave, he promised that he would return.
Eventually Bailor reached Sanspiar, and made peace with the Prince of Ntorn- considered the second miracle. A condition was that the young nephew Bailor, another tabors -the only grandchild Viserys, Hand Bailor, son of Prince and Princess Aygun Nairys- would marry the daughter and heir of Prince, the Mariah Martel when he was also the two adults, as in the year 161 m. K and the two of them were children. The prince offered the Bailor a galleon to lead the Kings Landing, but the king refused, saying he would return on foot. The Prince of Deurne advised the Lords to offer any assistance in Bailor so you do not die on dromo- and successor King willing to continue the war.
As promised, the Bailor turned to Will. But he discovered that the situation of the Aimon Drakoippoti had worsened. They were put naked in a cage burning in the hot sun of Deurne, in a pit full of Vipers. The Lord Will gave him the key to the cell. The Aimon begged him to leave and to leave him, but Bailor smiled and said that the gods were protecting him. And indeed, he entered the pit and gave the key to Aimon. The troubadours say Vipers bowed and opened the way to go because of the holiness of the truth is another. The Vipers bite him twelve times, and had the Aimon carry him and draw from there (while Will they placed bets on how would bear). Later, some will anarotountan if all that mattered somewhat poison the minds of Bailor.
The Aimon he carried him naked across Ntorniani desert, until someone in a small village offered him clothes and a mule. The Aimon went to the Bailor Blakcheiven in a meister pamper the king who had fallen into a coma, and only muttered prayers. The final Bailor met when conducted in a tournament Storms Ent- but would spend half the time even to be able to travel.
LORD OF THE SEVEN Kingdom
Once returned to King's Landing, his first concern was to put the High Venerable annul his marriage to Ntaina- had never completed also. And so it happened. Then he closed and three beautiful sisters in a Courtyard Beauty, the Parthenofylakio, away from any man, to stay pure and not cause the urges of men. Some said that he did not succumb to the same temptation that caused their beauty.
Although Prince Viserys, members of the court themselves princesses objected, the king not changed his mind, and so the princess locked in the tower. Allowed female companionship, and it was comfortable place, but it was, nevertheless, a prison jail where they would stay encapsulated for ten years, but that lasted reign Bailor A '.
Decisions of Bailor as king was deeply influenced by the godly nature. Although he kept his uncle Viserys the Targkaryen, father's brother, Aygun, a hand, even the Viserys could not do miracles, or prevent Bailor. One of the most notable decrees was the prohibition of prostitution. All prostitutes and their children expelled from Kings Lantingk- but would return at the end. This similarity with a proposal to Stannis Barathion kyrichtei illegal prostitution also (Game Crown Entarnt V).
Another idea was to replace the crows, in spreading messages, with white peristeria- which clearly would find most pure and beautiful, preferably black thugs. Neither this passed, and was vlakeia- by Meister Gouorgkreiv in Dark wings, quick words.
In the selection of consultants was not proved more wise. He appointed an illiterate woodcarver named Pate as High Sept because he believed was the Blacksmith reborn. This venerable died just a year later- some say from the hand of the same Prince Viserys. The next option was not wiser because Bailor convinced that an eight year old boy could make thafmata- spoke, swore the Bailor, with doves, and those of apantagan with male and female voices; the voices of the Seven. So was chosen the youngest Sept. wear the crystal crown.
He wanted even to force all of Wester adopt the faith of Seven. If he did so, the Gouinterfel and Pike will descend into war. He died, however, before accomplished something.
Perhaps the best work was the big Sept. who built the Hill Visenya (saw it, he said, in a vision). A magnificent building, worthy home polygapimenon of Seven. He died, of course, before seeing finished. In September is known as High Sept of Bailor, named the man who envisioned.
But beyond miracles and tragedies were in the kingdom of Sept-king. The Bailor, inexplicably, burned a significant portion of the library of Wester. One can understand why he wants to eliminate projects such as the Testimony of mushrooms, written in vulgar manner by a jester with more bad language, but works of inestimable value and knowledge transferred perished like Unnatural History Sept. Barth. The Sept. Barth was Hand of the King and friend Tzaichairys I, and considered more magician than September. And gods do not get along with magic.
Besides that, the reign of Bailor she was peaceful. Eventually he married his nephew tabors with Mariah Martel, thus sealing the peace between Deurne and Iron Throne. The first fruit of this union will Bailor named in honor of the man who arranged the gamo- and peace in Deurne.
Though isolated in a castle-within-a-castle, would be the sister of the Ntaina that would bring his loss. While Raina, pious as him, never really troubled from confinement at Parthenofylakio the Ntaina (and olein) had other views on this. The Ntaina ran away a total of three times from there, often dressed like a servant or staflitria. In one of these cases, helped her and the cousin of the Aygun ... so the Ntaina become pregnant. Bastard the boy (whose father flatly refused to name) was born end of 170 m. K, the same year as Bailor one day be called Lonchothrafsti, son tabors Targkaryen and Mariah Martel. This boy named Ntaimon Waters. Later he would Ntaimon Blakfair, and went down in history as the Black Dragon.
The Bailor had done many fasts in the past why I was so weak. He fasted bad when the Twins Princess Naira dead born in 161 m. K. But this time exceeded the limits. For over a moon prayed accepting only water and bread to calm the protesting stomach. Finally, forty days amid fasting, the Bailor collapsed. Neither meister neither the small Venerable with his miracles could do something. The Sept-king died in 171 m. K, and finally met the gods so loved.Yet, even after all these years, not everyone is convinced of his death. Fasting was at fault? Or is the poisoned Hand, uncle and successor Viserys II, as originally advocated by Maja Stooukgouorth? And if so, why? From ambition for the throne? Out of necessity to save the kingdom from the follies? It was widely known that Viserys was being ruled as the tabors polemage and Bailor prayed. We will never learn. One thing is certain; the Bailor the First is one of the most controversial figures of Targkaryenis history, with examples of people who honor him (Lansel Lannister) or condemn (cheese Lannister, Joost Osgkref). And so another chapter in the history of Goesteros closes.
